Bagan is one of the most ancient cities that exists in Myanmar (previously known as Burma). Situated on the banks of the Ayeyarwady River, Bagan is in central Myanmar, southwest of Mandalay. Located in the westernmost part of Myanmar, Rakhine state includes Thandwe which is an ancient city and a major seaport. Thandwe comprises of beautiful streams, high peaks, tobacco and rice fields and many rocky ranges. The Ngapali Beach at thandwe makes it a perfect attraction for tourists who like beaches. Its beauty is captivating. In the northern area, some of the peaks are as high as 4000 feet.
