Mandalay is the second largest city of Myanmar. The city emerged in 1857-59 by King Mindon. Main aim to create this city was to replace it as the country capital. Mandalay has the majority population of Buddhists. The most spoken language of Mandalay is Burmese and English is the third known language in the city. There are many impressive markets, Indian temples, mosques, workshops of gold, lots of monasteries and a lovely thriving culture like teahouse to explore. The local people are very friendly.
